When Michael Neblett wrote in with pics of his original Kyosho Ultima circa 1988, he said he was moved to submit it before Kyosho went and re-released it. He also stressed that while all-original, his buggy is far from stock. In fact, almost every part has been upgraded, but with period-correct hopups he used on the original ’88 build! The chassis is a Composite Craft/Trinity Graphite, with graphite shock towers that have been 3M graphite-wrapped for show purposes. It wears a set of Andys front A-arms and Lunsford titanium adjustable rods. It wears a special set of aluminum rims and a Buds bi-level wing (also graphite-wrapped.) And he is still using the airbrushed Ultima Pro body that Michael did when he was 14 years old! How’s this for a trip down memory lane!
